School / Education

Tuition-free education for children in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa.

RACE Academy exists to give children in the Gaytown community a safe place to learn, grow, and catch up academically through consistent instruction and Christ-centered care.

Why it matters

Many children are older than the grade level they are currently able to attend.

Some children in the community have missed years of education because of poverty, family hardship, and limited access. Refuge Ministries is working to bridge that gap by giving children consistent classroom time, basic curriculum, care, and hope.
